Dimitra Christodoulou was born in Athens in 1953. She studied Law and Literature. She worked as a teacher in Public Secondary Schools until her retirement. She has published thirteen poetry books and one of prose. Her work has been translated into several languages and published in Greek and foreign magazines and anthologies. In 2008 she was awarded the Greek National Prize for Poetry for her book "Limos".  He is a member of the Greek Society of Authors.
