Nikos Filntisis, born in 1987, grew up in South Peloponnese. He studied Immunology in London. He crossed the USA by car. Now he lives in Athens. In 2012, his first book Το παραβάν (To paravan,  transl. The screen ) was included in the short list of the Hellenic Authors' Society for the "Yiannis Varveris" Emerging Poet Award. In 2016, he published υδράργυρος ( ydrargyros, transl. hydrargyrum ), his second book.
